L’implication des proches dans la prise en charge des patients souffrant d’un AVC en phase aiguë et subaiguë

La survenue d’un AVC est un évènement traumatisant, aussi bien pour celui ou celle qui en est la victime, que pour son entourage. Si une place importante est accordée à la « victime » elle-même, nous avons toutefois choisi de nous intéresser plus précisément aux conséquences d’un tel événement sur la vie des proches du patient. La dépendance de leur proche signe une rupture totale avec leur vie passée (rupture biographique). Une réadaptation complète à un mode de vie différent sera nécessaire.
